The Range Rover enters 2009 available in two models: HSE and
Supercharged. The HSE is powered by a 4.4L V8 engine generating 300
horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque. The Range Rover Supercharged boasts
a 4.2L supercharged V8 engine producing 400 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of
torque. Both engines are mated to a six-speed automatic transmission
with CommandShift. Standard features on all models include the Terrain
Response system, an electronic park brake, and the electronic rear 'e'
differential. A Luxury Package on the HSE adds cargo net, wood center
console trim, adaptive headlamps, outside automatic day/night mirrors,
dual upgraded power seat adjusters, upgraded leather seat trim, and
heated and cooled front seats. The Land Rover Range Rover HSE was last
redesigned in 2003 and the next major change is expected in 2012.
