For 2009, the Jeep Patriot returns with few changes and is available in four trims: Sport and Limited in either 2WD or 4WD. Exterior updates for the new model year are limited to paint color changes; Light Sandstone and Deep Water Blue Pearl are new. Interior enhancements include a freshened instrument panel, door trim panels and center console. LED-illuminated cup holders are standard. The uconnect GPS system combines the features of unconnect tunes and phone with the navigation system for ease of use. Engine noise has been reduced through the use of silencers, as well as, improved exhaust tuning. The suspension the Sport has been tuned for a more comfortable ride. Models with the 2.4L CVT powertrain are Partial Zero Emission vehicles.
